A few stand out moments in this issue. Once again Ringmaster is a surprisingly good villain and the issue reveals much of his overall scheme more than anything else. Theres less of a focus on Cage but I think overall while the book is good theres definitely something missing that would make it a great issue. Read Full Review
Another Marvel book with loads of potential falls flat and ultimately comes to a quick ending. Walker's voice for Cage shouldn't go to waste, hopefully Marvel gives him another shot and more creative space. Read Full Review
While the plot has been good to Caged! for the most part, and Sannas artwork has done wonders for the book visually, Luke Cage #168 is easily the weakest issue of David F. Walkers series with the character. Its slow, uninteresting, and doesnt have much of a payoff. Unfortunately, I have to recommend giving this issue a pass and coming back with #169. I trust Walker, Sanna, and company to make that one a better comic. Read Full Review
I decent an issue with some ok art and a cool concept. This book has been better since legacy started and it's a shame it wont get time to build on the quality.
A full breakdown of how and why the Ringmaster ended up mind-controlling a Georgia prison and the little town around it. Also includes a few pages of Luke Cage content! Guillermo Sanna's art is full of life and the details of the plot are explained with skill, but there's an undeniable sinking feeling when we realize we're gonna concentrate on Ringmaster getting himself stuck in a Loop of Futility and pretty much ignore all the dramatic potential of amnesiac Luke Cage.
