Couldn't have a better ending to such a beautiful story. But this is just the begining to Illyana!

In Limbo, Illyana kills the alternate Ororo so that Belasco cannot sacrifice her soul to his masters, the Dark Ones. As punishment, she is banished to Ororo's former domain while a blizzard rages. She uses the giant oak tree that Ororo created to sustain her. She uses its lifeforce & her own remaining magic to create her Soulsword. With it, she is able to revert Belasco to his human form & defeat him, causing him to flee. She could have killed him but didn't. She uses her "stepping disk" mutant power to return back to the X-Men's timeline, but now seven years older than when she first arrived in Limbo. (Cover date: March, 1984)
