Also, I'm not sure why Natacha Bustos wasn't the artist on the previous issue but man oh, man, does she return with a vengeance with action-packed panels and some amazingly emotive close ups that make you wonder why this series hasn't been adapted for television yet. When you can thoroughly enjoy the story without even having to read the word balloons, you know you have a world class artist on your hands. Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur is a fun, action packed, all-ages comic that seems to just be getting started. While I really was hoping for more Marvin in this issue, we get to see more of the connection between Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur and I guess that's important since they are the stars of the book and all. The story and art make this one of the funnest books around if you agree that "funnest" is a word and aren't so uppity about stuff like that. As we get closer to the mystery of Lunellas Inhuman DNA, this issue drops tiny hints about her powers and how they may affect Devil Dinosaur. I have my thoughts on how the story will proceed, and even if they dont come to fruition this chapter of Lunellas adventure is setting up some fascinating dynamics between her, her dinosaur pal, and a certain Kree youngster.
