There's plenty of fun stuff happening here -- in fact, a little too much stuff. The script spreads plot and character development around a little thin, with the result that the pace lags and there's some wheel-spinning.
The mysteries facing Kamala are still intriguing and her voice sounds authentic, though. It helps that the art is absolutely great; this clean cartoony style fits the protagonist and the story to a T.
About on the same level as issue one. I'm having a fun time.
