A great conclusion to the best book ,currently, carrying the AVENGERS name (by leaps and bounds above the rest). As a series, NEW AVENGERS had a rocky start, mainly due to some questionable art, but it became a highlight in a time when the majority of Marvel's output is at an all, time creative low. Plus, it doesn't hurt that NEW AVENGERS had one of my favorite (and most underrated) current writers (AL EWING) telling stories about some of my favorite (and most underrated) characters from the last 30+ years of collecting (SUNSPOT & CANNONBALL and WARLOCK!).
Looking forward to U.S.AVENGERS #1.

After Hickman's grand Avengers epic, the breakout character by far of the whole run was Sunspot. Hickman wrote him fantastically. Ewing, however, took away all Sunspot's personality and turned him into a very annoying Tony Stark. That's my main complaint with this book and other than the first 2 issues nothing is inherently terrible and their actually some really great issues but this series is really nothing special, even with the Maker.
Seeing how this had no reviews for the final issue. I can understand why this is the final issue. It's ok nothing to special. This series was over the top but sometimes you need that in life. Nothing wrong with some grandiose events.
