•  As an Avenger, Nova is on the front lines of Civil War II, but he may not have the same ideas as his friend and mentor Iron Man.
•  Come to think of it, he isn't a big fan of Captain Marvel's stance, either...
•  Awkward.

This issue has incredible art and provides us with a story that, while not giving us a whole lot, sets up a lot going forward. The dialogue is very sharp and believable and the issue is very welcoming to readers who are jumping on for the Civil War II tie-in. That said, there seems to be a few wasted scenes and ultimately the issue spends more time setting up a future story than providing us with a good launch point. Despite this though, I found myself enjoying this issue and relating to Sam quite a bit. Read Full Review

Nova has been through some rough times. He found out his dad is not actually back. His mentor is the start of a new conflict and his friends are not always able to be there for him. This issue brings the issue to the front. I am guessing we are seeing how Nova will approach Civil War II and how it affects his stance. If you are a fan of the writing and art of the 80's era Marvel I think you would appreciate this series. It has a feel similar to the old Avengers solo titles that tied in with the main series. A bit of an overlooked title.
