There's a lot to like about this Phases of the Moon Knight idea, even if every story isn't a knockout. Read Full Review
As a reader of the Moench/Sienkiewicz run of Moon Knight when it first came out, I really appreciated the effort put into the first story here, and as a Stokoe fan, I really liked the second.
Two very interesting stories. The first was excellently written and drawn, but I don't like that dot-style of coloring. I get that it was trying to give it that old timey feel, but I'm seeing more and more of this dot coloring in modern comics and I really don't like it. The pencils were great though. The second story was very good looking, and I liked the premise but it wasn't quite as clearly written. The art hooked me and especially the coloring, but the writing did not. I'd like to see this Moon Knight fleshed out more.
Both stories were pretty cool. Better than average, I guess. I would like to see more of future MK, that seemed pretty gnarly.
First story was absolutely stunning visually. The story itself was good enough. The second I didn't care for in any way.
