Another action packed testosterone soaked adventure for Marvel's hardest character. I'll never forgive Marvel for the garbage writing of having him be HYDRA but at least Frank is trying to make amends. I can respect that and hope it's something that can be forgotten at a later time. Still though this War Machine deal has been a overall success as far as I'm concerned. I'm looking forward to Zemo catching that work and HYDRA Steve if he pop up. Read Full Review
The Punisher #226 is a highly entertaining and surprisingly funny story that sets up an exciting new future for the series. Read Full Review
This issue worked well as there is no easy or convenient ploy that forces the beloved superheroes to pardon Frank's betrayal. Read Full Review
Combine that with some unexpected help towards the end and The Punisher #226 is a solid read any Castle fan will enjoy. Read Full Review
I still think Matthew Rosenberg is doing a superb job handling the Punisher and his run. He's becoming my favorite Punisher writer of the past decade hands down. I'm excited to see what comes next and especially for the penultimate issue of this run! Read Full Review
This is getting good!
Great book. Lot's of interesting ideas and everything was executed seamlessly. The only gripe I have is with Hawkeye. I get it, he's the funny one, but he just kind of quipping like Spider-MAn as soon as he enters the picture. A little overdone, but it's definitely not horrible. Should be an interesting next few issues.
Frank taking his pocket war to Hydra turns out very well for us readers. It's touch-and-go for Frank, but some remarkable backup saves his bacon and promises even wilder adventures to come. This is a pretty great script; I wish it was boosted a little further by memorable art.
