Dec 17, 2014This is a perfect side-story for those looking for something more out of the main Spider-Verse title, though Id be hard-pressed to recommend it as a standalone. Its good enough that Id love to see this trio travel either other dimensions, or even the 616, on their own adventures, and that says quite a bit. The writing doesnt always serve the story in the best ways, but the character interactions get plenty done and the tale is paced briskly enough to keep things interesting, particularly leading into the final issue of the mini series. Dec 19, 2014Mike Costa's story picks up steam and adds a nice twist at the end, setting up an exciting endgame for the final issue. Aided by stylized art and a gorgeous color palette, Scarlet Spiders #2 delivers an intriguing side story to "Spider-Verse" that, while not essential, still delivers action and character moments for our clone heroes. Dec 20, 2014Basically, there's little reason for this comic to exist other than to make a few more bucks on this whole Spider-Verse thing. This comic doesn't have very much to say about its main characters, and its tie-in potential is minimal at best. Read Full Review
