While the rest of the series has been a slow burn, this conclusion felt rushed and left me without much idea of where the series is going next. After two great issues, this one fell a little flat for me, despite how much we got to see Wanda using her powers. Read Full Review
First of all. I hate what this artist did to Agatha. She reminds me now of Streep's character of the Devil Wears Prada. They really should have kept her croneesque that was part of her charm. And you can hosestly tell the art got wonky on the last page and the color artist, Brunner could have eased up on the red on the final page. Story wise I loved it. And I love the outcome gives Wanda more power to go all out on her hexes now.
It seems after all this Wanda's mother is gone, leaving many secrets behind; I'm not sure if this isn't a bit of a cheat. What truly dragged this issue down, however, was the art, which was shockingly sub-standard for a Marvel comic.
