• When Spider-Gwen's dimension-hopping web-watch falls into the wrong hands, it's up to everyone's favorite wisecracking web-slinger, the wily waddler known as SPIDER-HAM, to save the day!
•  From the same creative minds that brought you INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE and Spider-Gwen creator JASON LATOUR, you won't want to miss this interdimensional epic!

It's excellent to see such a fully-realized one-shot, and I think Latour and Lafuente really make the case for something of a Spider-Ham ongoing with their work here. Read Full Review

I'm horrified to report that I enjoyed a Spider-Ham comic. I resent the full creative team for crafting a story involving ham with supernatural powers that appealed to me. Read Full Review

From start to finish it's a lovely sort of laugh riot, one where there are plenty of jokes and most of them deliver a good-natured ribbing. AIPT - Forrest Hollingsworth Jun 26, 2019

All in all, this issue ends up being an experiment with diminished, but fascinating and worthwhile returns. The first story is flighty and frustrating, but also stylish and silly in a great, definitely intentional way while the latter is sobering in an unexpected but deserved and enriching way. I wouldn't recommend this to fans hot off Into the Spider-Verse, but those who like Spider-Ham because of the massive backstory and history of the character will find a lot to dig into here. Weird Science Marvel Comics - Branden Murray Jun 26, 2019

Overall, Spider-Man Annual was a bit of a miss, that failed to truly capture the essence of the character Spider-Ham in an attention grabbing matter, or even continue traction the character may have picked up from the Into the Spider-Verse movie. The art was nice enough to provide the book with an animated touch, but there are some transition issues in the beginning of the book that really throw the reader for a loop, before settling back into a groove. If you absolutely need Spider-Ham right now, grab one of the True Believer centered around the character for a better value. Read Full Review
