Comic Crusaders - Kevin Given May 13, 2019

This title is bringing Star Wars back to basics in the way that Rogue One did. I wish this could have been filmed before episodes 7, 8 and 9 so we could have had our heroes together on one last great adventure. Read Full Review

This storyline continues to work well as I like seeing a proactive group of Rebels working to deal a strong blow against the Empire while handling all the ways it goes wrong along the way. Gillen's story works across the main pieces well and everyone feels well-served with what they're going through, though I think I like what Luke is dealing with the most because Bethnic just feels like he's the engaging one to follow here. Each of the pieces builds the big picture well and it flows well and looks great throughout. I'm excited to see what's coming next as we get closer to the end of Gillen's run. Read Full Review

It's a very middle of the road issue. I don't have any particularly strong feelings about it. This is an arc that, like most of Gillen's arc, I think will read far better in a trade when you can get the entire story in one go. Until then, I'll continue to read the issues one by one and hope that they catch my interest more and more. Read Full Review
