The fight between Boba Fett and Valance was brilliant drawn and wonderfully scripted. We get a reminder of just how ruthless Boba Fett is and by comparison, Valance has more of honor and a sense of right and wrong. The contrast between the two Bounty Hunters is going to make things interesting should they meet in future issues. Read Full Review

STAR WARS: BOUNTY HUNTERS #5 gives you a ton of story and a ton of action. The story is satisfying, and the art is full on eye candy. Highly recommended. Read Full Review

Sacks and Villanelli did a fantastic job of concluding their first story arc. Valance has a new mission, and the stakes are increased tenfold. I really had a hard time with this series when I first started reading it and this issue is one that felt like it worked a lot better than what had come before. Enough so that I'm hopeful that the next arc with Valance will function better for me and I can keep up with it instead of it feeling like a chore. This issue didn't feel like a chore and that was a big plus for me, as was cleaning out the cast a bit and thinning it down just a touch. I like Valance in general as he reminds me of some classic 80s Marvel kinds of characters and now that he's got the stand-in dad thing going on with a subplot for Cadeliah that feels like it could be fun, the pieces are in place. It just depends on what's added and how it's executed. Read Full Review

The explosive action is enough to earn the book repeat reads, which will surely be necessary if one hopes to digest what the hell is happening at any given time. Read Full Review

But Why Tho? - Quinn Sep 23, 2020

For its simplicity, Bounty Hunters #5 is entertaining. Who doesnt want to watch a few bounty hunters beat each other up? The art is gorgeous and the colors are beautiful. But the plot itself just isnt up to snuff. The characters are painted too black and white for my tastes and the plot just isnt engaging Read Full Review
