Rated T+
Strikeforce closes out its run with an extended arena brawl that's enhanced with solid art, thoughtful (and funny!) writing, and some epilogue scenes that deliver a decent sense of closure. There's one last modest twist before the story is done. The creators have done a fair job of tying up their story, and readers who signed on at the beginning should be satisfied with this conclusion. Strikeforce #9 has good art, and we get both a resolution and answers to the main story of the series. Because the series was cancelled, this all comes out with a rushed feeling. Read Full Review
There are delightful moments in this final issue, but unfortunately, it just doesn't meet the high bar set by the series' early issues. Hopefully, we'll get to see them back together down the line though, because this time was a pleasant surprise. Read Full Review
You just slog through these vague scenes and dull lines and hope like hell the randomness gets explained at the end. And it does, and it's not nearly enough of a reward.
This is not a good final issue. The pacing was all over the place and sometimes didn't get conyeved properly. I'm glad this is where it stops. This series didn't really need to exist and it never became a series to follow.
Not worth your time
A deeply frustrating, pointless read.
