Great stuff all around, but that's what we've come to expect from Thunderbolts which hasn't had a poor issue in a LONG time. This is one of the best and most consistent titles that Marvel puts out. Read Full Review
All of this goes down and Parker still manages to spend some time in the wondrous chamber holding the remains of Man-Thing. The scene is strange yet beautiful, and immediately gets gross when Mr. Hyde tosses in some "food" he collected. To mix sci-fi, biology, and mysticism might seem an odd choice, but all of the different characters and their abilities, along with some clever writing, allows it to happen seamlessly. What seemed like a hokey excuse to put the Invaders on the cover has turned into an excellent story that embraces the values of the era and uses Cap, Namor, and the Human Torch to entangle the T-Bolts in a conflict that literally means everything to them. Well this issue definitely had some action in it. It was nice to see Cap and Namor unload. Those are two iconic characters and they really know how to dominate a situation. I was also really impressed with the art this issue. Read Full Review
Despite such complaints, "Thunderbolts" remains a very high quality team book with fantastic art, enjoyable writing and a wide variety of characters. Universe-spanning in the best way, and highly recommended. Read Full Review
Thunderbolts is one of the best books Marvel is putting out right now. Jeff Parker can make characters I didn't care about before seem really interesting with great inter-personal conflicts and great dialog. Read Full Review
