The world finds out about the new Spider-Man! Plus, The Scorpion comes to New York!
Aside from the weak choice of villain, there's nothing to complain about here. It started off well but seven issues in, "Ultimate Comics Spider-Man" is strong as ever -- as enjoyable as it is brilliantly-crafted and an undisputable classic in the making. Read Full Review

While I love Sara Pichelli's work, Samnee's Spider-Man feels more childlike, with an almost Peter Pan quality as he jumps through the air. This sense of innocence in the face of danger only adds to why Ultimate Comics Spider-Man is one of best books in comics; be it Marvel or anywhere else Read Full Review
This was a very entertaining issue and I absolutely loved the cliffhanger involving Miles uncle. It got me thinking how his uncle is like an opposite of Uncle Ben. I cant wait to see how everything plays out. Read Full Review
Miles is getting more comfortable in his new role as Spider-Man. There's still a lot he doesn't know and part of the fun is seeing a hero not master his new powers right from the beginning. It's the little details that we can count on Bendis to deliver. He always manages to put in those little doses of reality when it comes to what must go through the mind of a superhero. It does seem like Miles should receive some official training since Nick Fury discovered his identity a couple issues back. For now we get to enjoy Miles experiment with his power. Seeing more Chris Samnee art is a treat as well. With how this week's issue ends, it looks like Ultimate Comics Spider-Man is about to get really intense. I've been loving the ride thus far, so I see no reason why I won't continue on this crazy train next month. Read Full Review
I say this issue was great to see Miles develop as a superhero. We even get to see a little more of Miles's uncle, who I think will play a big part in Miles career as Spider-man. Can't wait to see how Miles grows as this series continues. I say pick this issue up , and if you are not reading this series pick up some issues because it has some great story. Miles Morales is a great new character and I think we will see a lot more of him in the future. Read Full Review
