May 20, 2026Marvel couldn’t ask for a better opening salvo in this series. Call me a fish because we are one issue in, and I am hooked. I love what this creative team is crafting. It feels like we finally may be getting some new characters that actually impact the Marvel Universe as we know it, and that is exhilarating. Read Full Review

May 20, 2026Ultimate Impact: Reborn Issue 1 is much more focused on energy than exposition. It lends the two perfectly, meaning that essential background reading isn’t required at all. Read Full Review

May 26, 2026Ultimate Impact: Reborn #1 is a fantastic opening issue from writer Chris Condon. With wide ranging consequences, a great lead character in Miles Morales, and some fantastic art from Stefano Caselli, this issue delivers and asks us all: What would you do if ultimate power landed in your lap? I’m very excited to see where this story goes and I’m very much looking forward to issue #2. Read Full Review

May 20, 2026Ultimate Impact: Reborn #1 lays down an ambitious foundation, positioning Miles Morales at the center of a high-stakes power struggle that could reshape the Marvel Universe. Chris Condon juggles multiple threads with confidence, even if the issue feels more like setup than a complete story. Strong visuals and intriguing new players make this an engaging start, with plenty of promise for what’s to come. Read Full Review

May 23, 2026Ultimate Impact: Reborn is bold, fast, visually slick, and loaded with potential. It is a first issue that knows it has to sell a concept, not just recap one, and it does that with swagger. Condon brings the character hooks, Caselli brings premium Marvel motion, Gracia and Curiel bring the color fire, Sabino keeps the whole machine readable, and Marvel gets a new sandbox where legacy, danger, and fresh character energy collide. It may be a little crowded, but it is crowded like a New York block party where every corner has something wild happening. That is not a complaint. That is the vibe. Read Full Review

May 20, 2026Ultimate Impact: Reborn may have the most ironic comics title of 2026. There’s little here that makes any impact and nothing thus far appears to be reborn. Perhaps it will make more of an impression in a collected volume, but right now there’s little reason to keep reading. Read Full Review

Genuinely this issue sucks my dick. I fell off of ultimate incursion so hard after nothing happened for 3 issues straight, and now we have miles doing one of those “10 new heroes have entered the marvel universe, pick up their first appearances before they become collector items”. Also miles only loses the fight because he falls for the same spot trick twice in a row?? Are you serious?????
