• Gwen's "team-up" with Miles Morales ends...badly!
• Man, oh, man, she is not a good person! It gets dark!
• We promise this is not a Civil War II tie-in!
Rated T+
All books go through peaks and valleys and I feel that's all that happened here. A two issue team-up between Miles and Gwen, while interesting at first, fell a little flat for me towards the end. Hastings' jokes, however, remain a saving grace. I find him able to hit my funny bone throughout the book and I love how the writer can always be counted on for a few good belly laughs each issue regardless of the subject matter presented. Despite various story elements coming up a little flat this issue, the title overall remains one of Marvel's highlight comedies. Give Gwenpool a shot. Read Full Review
And that Civil War II banner on the cover? Pointless. It's getting stupid at this point; it's as if they line up each comic for the next month, blindfold themselves, then randomly pick which issues to brand as a Civil War II tie-in. Read Full Review
One if the best Gwenpools yet! Banter between her and Miles was great. Secret Wars references were awesome. The team up was short but sweet!!! This comic is what it is!! Pure entertainment!!!
Oh jeez, I didn't realize Gwenpool would go that far and it's kind of hysterical. The fact that this incorporates an Ultimate Spider-Man subplot via Secret Wars brings it to the next level.
