This was a really fun ish for me at the time, dont know why these old Uncanny issues have such low scores? They are lots of fun imo
good ending...
Beast quits the X-Men after being pursued by an angry, anti-mutant mob despite saving the life of a boy. He meets the mutant Unus in the ring after taking up a pro wrestling career. Unus decides to take up a life of crime & takes away the booty of some bank robbers. Detected by Cerebro, Unus is confronted by the X-Men, & they fight essentially to a draw. Beast returns with a possible solution for defeating Unus, but the other X-Men are suspicious of his motives, thinking he may join the evil mutants. (Cover Date: November, 1964)
