agreed on all counts. imagine getting life advice and a full psychological breakdown because you didnt like a comic book. the internet is odd. btw this book sucks and each week we breakdown why. because things just happen, and its poor writing.

Aug 19, 2026The Uncanny X-Men is going new places and doing things unlike ever before. There’s no other word to describe what Gail Simone and the creative team are doing other than “groundbreaking.” As always, I will be very anxiously waiting for the new issue to drop! Read Full Review

Aug 19, 2026Gambit’s latest attempt to rid his curse becomes all too complicated in another great issue! Simone teases some future moments while pushing into the supernatural present. Vecchio and Wilson shine with the action panels and more personal looks. The team on UXM never fails on bringing out the best of the X-Men every time! Read Full Review

Aug 19, 2026I’ve been an X-fan for years and the current X-Men books are the first time their books aren’t at the top of my read pile. However, Simone’s work on Uncanny X-Men (Vol. 6) has been a breath of fresh air after years of lackluster X-Men books (yes, even the Krakoa Era and the Hickman issues), bringing a classic feel to the book that has been missing a long time. Issue #34 is yet another awesome old school X-Men thrill ride, taking the team to some new places while giving readers everything they loved about the team in the past. Read Full Review

Please disregard the reviewers whose sole purpose every week is to just bash and complain about how bad "insert Marvel comic here" is. They seem to attain some weird type of glee in reading their ranting reviews. This is a good book with a nice blend of characters and engaging stories. Is it as good as Moon Knight, Thor or Daredevil? No, but not many are. Enjoy reading it and stop doing so if you don't. Don't put your hate fetish on display every week just because you have a perverted infatuation with whining for the sake of whining.

I’m getting tired of Simone‘s only two themes - child abuse / safe space and demonic threats. As usual, Vecchio‘s art is a mixed bag - there are certainly worse artists at Marvel right now, but man, do I miss the old times when comic book artists knew what they were doing.
Re. MrNobody: if you had read all of my reviews, you would have noticed that there are Marvel titles I do enjoy, such as the Punisher. I would also prefer to rate the X-titles higher, and I have done so now and then (quite recently the Juggernaut issue of X-Men) but often I can’t, because they are crap.+ Like • Comments (2)• Likes (1) -

The solicit got it right in the opening lines "Wild Ride" continues in desperation!"
Gail hyped this issue up on her Facebook saying " Today is UNCANNY X-MEN #34 and a lot of the future of two key X-Men starts here, just saying!
You're going to want this.
Gambit and Rogue in crisis, and someone new at the door!"
If you came away with that feeling after this issue I'm jealous of you because this issue was awful. Gail continues the Gambit possessed story so at least that is paid off from earlier issues. Just like most things in this X-men run ,its just bad. the fact that gambit has morphed into some type of dragon is beyond me. the fact that it was a fly last issue also makes little sense. This time we get attack on Tit more+ Like • Comments (1)• Likes (2) -
