Venom faces a gauntlet of doom as the Crime-Master unites Jack O'Lantern, The Human Fly, Toxin and more to destroy Flash Thompson! The Crime-Master's plan is so diabolical, so vile, that it forces Eddie Brock to become a symbiote's host once more - and takes the war to Flash Thompson's Family, Betty Brant and even Peter Parker!

I think "Savage Six" tell you everything you need to know. A brilliant twist on a classic Spiderman story, except here the majority of the villains united are from previous "Venom" arcs, making their union even more organic. All you need is Kraven the Hunter and you've got a complete set. This is a dark, vicious, brutal story; where Agent Venom is truly fighting for his life in every... single... panel! I have nothing but praise for the story. A cracking opening issue! Read Full Review

I was most astounded by the visuals of Megatak. His powers allow him to control real-life glowing colored Tetris blocks, which he uses to deflect bullets and smash Venom in the head. Kev Walker is no stranger to drawing bad guys with weird powers after his excellent work on Thunderbolts, and he shows off the Savage Six with apt amounts of creepiness and ugliness. His pencils also lend themselves to short, exciting bursts of action, and given the writing style of both Remender and Bunn, that makes him a great fit for this title. Read Full Review

Overall this is another very solid issue for Venom, and I'm really anticipating how this arc will play out. Luckily we get another issue in just two weeks! Any fan of the series will enjoy this one, and it's also a nice jumping on point for anyone who hasn't been reading it yet. Read Full Review
