Venom faces a battle the likes of which he has never seen before! With Crime-Master uniting some of Marvel U's most devious villains, it looks like Venom could use as much help as he can get. Where that help comes from, however, may shock you!
A brutal, fast-paced issue; where Flash cannot let up for a second. The pacing was excellent, as was the tension of Betty not picking up her phone (unaware of the danger she's in), or Jack O'Lantern (in normal clothes) finding her first. The cruelty of Flash trying to save Betty, who then constantly fights to get away from him (believing he is nothing but the supervillain Venom). The whole plot is so simple, but so expertly handled. Flash's rogues gallery has shaped up nicely over its 18 issue run. Jack is as despicable as ever and proves to be the perfect nemesis for Flash; they're like a perverse Green Goblin and Spider-Man. Megatak remains a speechless character that is only around to use his amazing power to hurt people, but this is not bad. He's a silent enforcer. Lan Medina sets these baddies into frantic action with crisp art that emphasizes the hard impact of each brutal hit. His style has an honest quality that shows them for who they are and foregoes the typical exaggerated physiques. But given the disgusting state of Jack's mangled face, perhaps he is too honest. The conclusion of the issue is a moment we knew was going to have to come, so now we just have to wait until next issue to see how it pans out. Overall, it's another great issue of the series and a nice start to this final storyline for Remender that is dragged down only slightly by the artwork. Again, Medina isn't bad, but it's disappointing when there are artists that have been used on this series who I'd much rather see. Read Full Review

I could feel the stress that Flash was experiencing to find and save Betty. I personally don't like the"Tetris-guy", but well.
When everything seemed bad, Eddie/Toxin arrives, great haha. And the gasp of the volume... Flash reveals himself as Agent Venom to Betty. I kind of expected to happen, but still was shocking and cool. I really enjoyed it.
