And Alan Davis does a great job of conveying that suffering and torment. His emotional work is stark and gripping, especially considering that Wolverine is wearing a mask that covers his eyes and half his face. The action isn't quite as refined as it was in earlier issues, and a few shots are a little unclear in terms of the flow of action. But generally, this issue works when it matters most. I'm hoping the fight that will kick off the next issue will re-catch my interest. Knowing and being unhappy about where the series will be going after this story arc I really just want to get to the climax at this point and see Logan go head to head against his arch nemesis as I suspect I'll be losing interest for awhile after that fight plays out on page.
