Wolverine fans won't have long to wait for a new book, of course, with no less than two Wolverine on-goings cropping up alongside a Daken relaunch and an X-23 ongoing, but it's fair to say that this story had gone on long enough, and this issue, despite its flaws, can at least claim to be a fitting send-off for the title. Somewhat more entertaining is Way's backup tale featuring a meeting between Logan and Hope in a San Francisco alleyway. Way effectively builds on the antagonistic relationship between the two while also offering a more fitting exploration of the issue's running theme of looking towards the future. Ultimately, though, this final arc failed to deliver a satisfying conclusion to the Origins saga. I'm content to follow the book's message, put these 50 issues behind me, and embrace the Wolverine stories yet to come. Read Full Review
This is a case where the back-up story plays out better than the feature. I can appreciate the intention to give Logan some kind of closure after 50 issues of dredging up the past, but I think it's presented in such a vague way that it doesn't really seem to be of any significance . And it's over, first half with Dillon is a blast, then it started focusing on Romulus and it got real stupid, I still don't understand why Logan needed Skarr for his plan
