• Yondu and his descendent from the 31st century, Yondu, seem to have shaken their pursuers - little do they know they're still being hunted!
• Can the two set aside their differences long enough to protect the Herald's Urn, or will their divisiveness allow Sav'rkk to pick them off one by one?
• Plus, Yondu's secret origin is revealed!
Rated T+
The buddy movie is really beginning to shine, I recommend getting through the earlier shakier issues just for this issue. Great writing, even better characterisation, and an art style that perfectly compliments the story make Yondu a surprise hit. Read Full Review
As far as penultimate issues go, Yondu #4 slowed down the overall pacing of the series to a crawl. Read Full Review
This issue isn't too bad, actually. Probably the best of the bunch. Yondu's origin, while not exactly original, was entertaining, as was the conversation between the two Yondus.
Prelude:
Welp, time for another issue of Yondu.
The Good:
Yondu's backstory was a bit interesting.
The Bad:
Don't like the art.
It's boring to read.
Conclusion:
Look, it's mostly just boring to read. Sure Yondu's origin had some interesting parts, but it's mostly a pain to read.
Horrible art and pretty boring but I liked Yondu’s origin
All of this comic's sins are forgivable -- except for being mortally dull.
