Stuck in the freezing Zombiepocalypse that is Dead of Winter, how could things get any worse for our intrepid heroes? How about they get blown up and "rescued" by a drunk mall Santa? How about being held captive in a police station by an insane police officer while it slowly becomes overrun by the zombie menace? That's being stuck between rock and a hard place, friends!
Dead of Winter is like a comedy version of The Walking Dead and it's just as fun as that sounds. How great would it be if every so often Rick Grimes cracked a joke or commented wryly on the ridiculous series of events that led to his current predicament? Plus, have I mentioned the dog? A lot of well-timed jokes and some emotionally tugging here and there help make this a comic I'd recommend folks pick up. We're still getting a feel for who our survivors are while navigating this new world and the dangers they face - good stuff this issue. Read Full Review
