    This was a solid second issue that builds nicely on the story established in last month’s opener. The Valeria featured in this book is the same character who appeared in the Conan the Barbarian movie, which made it particularly enjoyable for me, as I had only previously encountered her in one other Conan story.     Conan the Barbarian #34 is another great issue in a book that rarely misses. I am a little disappointed that the pirate portion of our tale gave way to a survival story so quickly, but the strong characters and promise of Conan alone against their foes keeps me engaged. Read Full Review
