I feel like I'm repeating myself every month with this book. It is brilliantly written. It has great art. This is a book that you should be reading, and it's shameful that so many great books like this one escape the mainstream attention they deserve just because it doesn't have Batman, Deadpool or Wolverine in it. Do yourself a favour pick up the trades, buy the single issues, anything just read this book. I am not bitter that it's selling in the low numbers, even if it sounds like it. Like any story before in this series, Ninjak #26 closed out another must read adventure. If you're someone who read The Valiant, then the end wasn't all too surprising, but the emotion and execution are the main attraction for this agent who knows how to rise above the challenge. Read Full Review

As with almost any Valiant comic, this concluding part toThe Seven Blades Of Master Darqueis surprisingly easy for new readers to pick up (although it started in #23 if you want to go back a few issues), given to the way the comic is structured as Ninjak explains the mission to his MI6 handler Neville, along with some slight alterations to the truth, although if youwant to start reading the series, the final issue may not be the best place to start. Ninjakis a series continues to surprise me as a reader. A secret ninja-spy is an entertaining concept, but it can come across as just a gimmick if not done well. Throughout this run, the creative team for the book has never fallen into that trap. Ninjak essentially does what it did with the other arcs in its run in doing some interesting and fun things with great artwork and concepts but fails to really make them feel cemented and weighty. The material has so much going for it but is moving at such a quick pace that it ends up lacking the presence that it should, which when combined with what happens to Roku here at the end just makes it feel even lighter than it should.
