All together, this is a good jumping on issue. No major arcs going on, but enough to get any new reader up to speed. Good thing that Valiant does a good job with "The story so far") on the inside cover Read Full Review

Comic Bastards - Dustin Cabeal May 14, 2015

Out of all the Unity storylines thus far, this one has been my favorite. It's interesting the team that Kindt is putting together and it just makes me wonder what conflict is coming that these people will all be needed? One thing is for sure though, I'm enjoying Unity more than I ever have before and we're half way through the second year. That's just one of the many charms of the Valiant Universe, its ability to feel fresh all the time. It's like their superpower or something. Read Full Review

The preview for the next issue, Warmonger, was a bit disturbing. Looking forward to another interesting read by Kindt and company. Read Full Review

The Broken Infinite - Frank Rodriguez May 13, 2015

We got ourselves a damn well drawn issue with some very good character development. This one and done was interesting in terms of looking at the team from an outside perspective while also developing our cast more. With decent art and good pacing, this was a solid issue. Read Full Review

    Pop Culture Uncovered - Ray W May 12, 2015

This was a good and simple story that brings the team together to fight a very powerful foe. The story flows nicely and the characters' interactions werereally interesting. Pere Perez has been killing it on the art and the action flows effortlessly. Andrew Dalhouse brings anice palette of colors to the issue. Overall, this was a good issue which ends with a new threat and a new storyline on the horizon. Read Full Review

Unity #18 is a decent issue that does a good job in showing what became of Malgam and has some entertaining action. However, some of the sequences towards the end of the issue rehash what was explored in the previous 3 issues about the members current mental and physical state. So despite the lack of character development it was still a relatively enjoyable read. I'm not sure what the next story arc will entail but hopefully things will move forward for the team as a whole.
