With only six issues planned for the series, it's tempting to wait for the trade paperback. I suppose if you're into self denial and delayed gratification, that's okay. Belle's introduction is enough to get a good understanding of the character and pull you in. We get a glimpse of what she's truly capable of here, especially since all of her bells and whistles have been stripped away. Belle: Beast Hunter is a great addition to Zenescope's line of female adventurers, such as Robyn Hood and Van Helsing. You have to admire a woman who can wield an ax like this. Read Full Review
