One Quest - Chris Cobb Jun 5, 2013

Basically if you're heading out to the comic shop today and not quite sure what to pick up, give Screwed a chance. it's something different, even in a world where a lot of companies are doing their own twist on classic stories, none of them have been quite this different. It's a breath of fresh air from the overcrowded superhero market too, really there's only so many times I can read about Superman punching something, we get it he's super-strong, lets forget that stuff and get more books like this on the shelves. Comic Booked - Kelly Cassidy Jun 9, 2013

This was a great read and one of my favorite books of the week. It takes another classic character and brings it to the Zenescope family, and I will be honest that I like this iteration of the Frankenstein monster more so than the one currently in DC'sJustice League Dark. I don't know why, but I just really enjoyed this version. If you like a story that will have an encapsulated arc (this is a miniseries) and has good art and an engaging story, this is something you should give a look to. Read Full Review

Comic Bastards - Steve Paugh Jun 6, 2013

If you’re a fan of Zenescope books, you’ll walk away happy after reading Screwed, because this is pretty much more of the same. Personally, I think that’s a shame, given what I honestly believe this company could accomplish if it sought to rise above its misguided commitment to cheesecake kitsch. It’s really not a bad concept for a story and some of its beats are really fun, but this will never become anything more than the comic book equivalent of a late-night basic cable slasher-skin flick. If that’s your bag, then hey, by all means ... get Screwed. Read Full Review

Major Spoilers - Chris Wilson Jun 7, 2013

I certainly had preconceptions as to what a Zenescope comic is and wrongly brought them with me, though that sometimes is unavoidable. I have to say, I was wrong. Screwed #1 made me change my view, even though some of my issues with the company's output persist. Regardless, Screwed provides enough mystery and intrigue with its modern day Frankenstein hook that I'll be back for further issues Read Full Review
