Annual 1 is a perfect GL story.
Arc Summary:
An interesting set of stories with two one-shots of varying quality before getting back onto the main story. While the tie to the first half of the season only comes in near the end, I really enjoyed the ride. Great characters and Liam Sharp's art is great.
A solid beginning and ending. However the middle dragged on a little long.
Yeah the buck had to stop here. I love Grant Morrison, I can't stand Hal Jordan. Vol.1 was literally Law & Order in space and in this volume - the saga continued. So by the time Green Arrow & GL got off their drugs here, I had to put this down. Morrison just was pulling all types of characters out of his ass that I just don't like reading about.
If only Morrison and I could see eye to eye that Kyle Rayner is "The Green Lantern", then I could have got through this second volume and completed the series. But no, it's still fuck the police - space cops included.
