Have you read last issue? Knig gave us explanation of heroes' absence. Captain Atom have tried to invade, but he was beaten by Ghotam Girl. Ghotam Girl one of the most powerful characters in Dc Universe, her brother could defeat All Justice League.

She suddenly is one of the most powerful characters, but it was stated a few months ago, that she would die, if she used her powers again/ too much. And she would stand no chance against Superman or other JL members. So bad excuse.

Her brother defeat all JL, and she didn't use her abilities very much. And also goverment denied invasion in Gotham, because of this supeheroes dont's take part in this storym

It indeed is. Justice League must be like "yeah, let them have Gotham since they've beaten up a powerful D lister". It's not like they have sorcerers, a dead guy able to hijack people's bodies, or several telepaths. Not even starting with Waller, who is ten times more ruthless and willing to cross the line. But okay, the story required Bane to control the city, so fine, I won't complain about it, even if it really is nonsensical. It sucks anyways, as most of the run,with or without logic behind.

You said you wnt explanation, here it is, but you undatisfied anyway. You wrote that we don't have explanation, but when you see your mistake tou say, that you don't like explanation. Thus you show, that you just don't like King. And also I want to remind that heroes are busy in their ongoings. But this is stupid anyway. Heroes rarely take part in each other important story arc, becuase this wouldn't make sense. Always, when hero has problem, he can call JL and all wil end.

It was in one of Kings stories where it was stated, that Gotham Girl would die, if she used more of her power. So no it doesnt make any sense. The other super heros stay away from Gotham as long as it is Under Bruces control, but it isnt, so yes Superman would interfere& do something.

Super heroes are the definition o breaking the law. They are vigilantes. As for the explanation, you bet I'm unsatisfied, because it's illogical. Even Everyone Loves Ivy made more sense, since at least she had control over every being on the planet. It was stupid, and the arc was trash, but at least it didn't try to pretend there's no other heroes who would do something, especially when Bat's MIA, because the plot demands Gotham to be abandoned by all the good guys.

Yeah, Superman break the law even when people die. He interfere in every civil war in every country and he doesn't care about jurisdiction and that after his leaveing conflict will happen again. Doomsday is raging in desert, or who cares? In Central-City curtain burn and because of this peaple can die.

tom king's writing ability is pretty good evidence that he probably has Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder.

First, she used her powers to help beat her brother so if he could beat the Justice League, she'd have to tap pretty deep to help beat him. Second, she used them against Batman and Flash recently quite a bit. Now she's using them all the time. Yeah, she should probably be dead by now. King makes little to no sense ever. No one coming to save Gotham from being taken over by villains makes ZERO sense. The government and/or the heroes would not allow an entire city to suffer just because.

Hell, Damian took Gotham Girl down without even breaking a sweat. Do you honestly think the Justice League couldn't do the same thing? People do hate Tom King and it's because he is a shitty, nonsensical writer.

If Gotham Girl uses not full range of her powers, she won't die. Superman can beat Batman and Flash in fair fight, and Gotham Girl have very similar abilities with superman. And also I want to point your attention to the fact that magic was weakness yet in the Silver Age, and maybe even in Golden (I haven't read very much comics about Superman from Earth-Two). And you even didn't tried to argue with my last statement. You just supported each other in your hatred.

Citation needed, regarding "she won't die unless she uses full range of her powers", because if memory serves me correct, Claire clearly states her powers drain her life energy. The more she uses them, the sooner she'll die. Unless King contradicted that later on, and you can provide a direct quote. Now, I don't think comparison with Superman is fair. He's a Kryptonian, after all. She may indeed share some powers with him, maybe her powers were created partially from his DNA, that we don't know.

However, we also do not know if she shares any weaknesses with him, in this case magic. If she's vulnerable to it, fine, I don't mind it. I mind, however, a clear deus ex machina Damian's wand was. It was in the comic, because it was convenient. Surprise! It's literally like the infamous shark repellent. That's my problem. I don't hate the comic, and emotions don't blind me. I just see what for what it is.

Captain Atom should have been able to wipe the floor with Gotham Girl easily, she’s human so she’s susceptible to his radioactivity. King clearly stated that if he uses her powers at “Superman-level” she would die within days if not minutes. How much life it drains is directly proportional to how potent the abilities are. She uses the full extent of her powers, she dies. Superman being susceptible to magic is still canon. You’re talking out of your ass holonet.

I don’t think King knows how powerful Captain Atom is. He would let Gotham Girl or Harley beat Dr. Manhatten with one punch, simply because he doesnt care about these things.

Yeah, Tom King is the worst author. Because of this he won Eisner Award twice. I don't want to argue because it's pointless. If you like Tomasi's Batman, you are lost to this world. If not, you are not so hopeless and maybe one you can understand King's Batman.

I‘m not a fan of Everything Tomasi wrote, but he definetly is a better writer than King. Kings run isnt a masterpiece or deep writing, it’s more like fanfiction made canon.

Don't ever trust awards, they are as subjectively given out as we write reviews. We do them pro bono, though, so one good thing, nobody bought us.
