I'm really enjoying this series. This world has turned into somethign that can actually stand on its won while keeping the vampire thematic. It's pretty cool

This was good. This was very good. Even beyond the more basic storytelling elements (like the fun, the black comedy...), this has turned into a very engaging drama. Spoilers ahead: Vampire stories are about tricks and ilusions. It's a monster that used to be a person you knew so you don't want to even think they can do the things they're doing, you lie to yourself it can't be them but that's all it is, and that's were the horror comes. This series pulls it off very well. Barda and Scott story is perfect. I'm in genuine awe in how they've turned a very silly premise into an actual interesting story and these two are the perfect exemplification because I kinda like both of them, I agree with both and I'm genuinely heartbroken at the fact they're fighting due to things that are entirely out of their control. Barda is right, in the sense of "the-bigger-picture" and Scott is right in the sense that they should be allowed personal freedom. And this is how the characters best work, Scott is a more personable dude than his wife, but he can get a little more selfish. She's more inclided to fight, but can get more aggressive. The reveal with Wally, I can't say I was prepared for that. Again, the tricks I mentioned. You don't see it coming, because you don't want to see it coming. Maybe Oliver is right, is what I told myself after reading this issue. Then again, there will probably be some more twists, and the humans are seldom better themselves. And the Black Lighning story backup was just perfect. Seriously, I was crying. And the use of ambiguity just makes it even more tragic. I choose to belive he got what he wanted.
