The writing in this book feels very focused. I am thinking about "Wolf" as I write this, because there are some similarities, but this seems like it will be much more consistent. The art is really solid too. The characters look great and the style is a fresh take on a limited color palette. The amount of story by length is very satisfying as well. |

The issue I have with the series is that the plot is not moving along fast enough. This was a solid issue and I think the last 3-4 issues have been really strong. Glad this gets published frequently, otherwise the pacing might be more of a problem. |

This is just a stellar book all around. Every character they introduce has depth and grit and a unique world view. Every character has conviction and purpose. I have been reading this since the first issue and cannot recommend it highly enough. |

This series is such a slow burn. I am often worried that it gets cancelled when it comes out less frequently. Ellis clearly has a lot of story to tell and this book would probably be a bit easier to approach if you are new to it and curious, in the trade form. The issues are pretty short and tend to advance the story slowly, but the art and writing is solid enough to keep me interested. |

I reread the whole series thus far after reading this one. There is an awful lot going on in this book so far and I was prepared for some confusion coming off of the way Zero ended. All in all, I think this series is good so far but I am wondering if there is some sloppiness in Kot's writing this time around. The back story of Wolfe and the vampire became clearer in this issue, especially after rereading the first couple issues more closely. I am not sure exactly why Anita says that Wolfe double crossed her because it did seem like she and Wolfe played her father and the guy with the lisp the way Wolfe intended. Maybe it is just overactive monster hormones... The art is really solid and I do think that Wolfe's dialogue is improving. |

I thought this was one of the strongest issues of the series so far. I have rated other issues far worse. I am not sure why this one is being rated poorly. |
