Joelle Jones is quickly becoming one of my favorite artists. And finally, a female hero who doesn't sound like she's being written with a man's voice

Not much happened to be honest. While reading this, i was confused on the continuity between this book and Two-In-One. How are Ben and Johnny on earth here when they're elseworld in the other book? The events don't line up and Slott's characterization on Johnny is questionable right now. Zdarsky's Two-In-One had the better debut issue.

Much respect to Mark Waid for taking on the daring task of introducing Sue Storm's first solo series. For starters, many casual readers frequently have mixed feelings on the Fantastic Four. They say they're boring, a repetitive act, and that they're only the slightest bit interesting only when they're together. Waid has shined a new light to that old thinking by fleshing out Sue's role in the MU. Yes she is a mother, sister, friend, and wife. But a spy? I'm wondering if he took inspiration from Hickman's Avengers run. Nonetheless, espionage and Sue Storm are a perfect pairing. Waid does a great job of showing and telling as he gives readers new and creative ways for Sue to use her powers. I underestimated how much drama and tension invisibility and force fields can create! The stakes are high, Sue has a new status quo, and she's a refreshingly competent heroine who isn't written to show up her male counterparts. The art's also fantastic. Clear lines. Good use of lettering. Characters expressions aren't awkward and inking is on point as well.

Even more creative and fun uses of Susan's abilities. We need more adventures of Sue as a spy.

What's the deal with cartoony Brodok? Why is Clint so passive? He was always the proactive, somewhat stubborn, but courageous as hell guy on the Avengers roster. Why doesn't Kate call up her old YA pals? Why does Kate willingly accept Gwenpool after her "background check" rule?
