Pretty bored with this event

The hiatus makes it that there "needs" to be recap, but some of it goes directly against things we saw at the end of the first trade. The art is good, but certain things feel more like gimmicks than they did in the first six issues (ie: multi-colored wing sauce and noodles). The last 2 pages may be the best and most intriguing the series has had yet, but not much happens leading up to it. I know this will be one of those books that people will refuse to rate honestly even when there are obvious flaws in the pacing or narrative, but not much happened overall and some of the stuff that did was convoluted and confusing. It's up to you to decide if you trust Camp to come through by the end, but I'm not reviewing it at the end right now, I'm reviewing this issue, and overall, I was disappointed with it.

Dead Book Walking. This entire run of Star Wars has been boring and inconsequential. Segura needs to be fired and Marvel needs to do something to get some hype going for the Star Wars line stat!

All over the place yet barely doing anything - never thought I'd prefer the Peter in Space story but at least we get Peter there as Ben and Norman fart around until Peter returns to Earth

It took 30 issues to get to this? I hope Infernal Hulk has better pacing (paint drying has better pacing to be honest) and a tighter focus, but that is certainly not PKJs thing. How much you liked this run is definitely proportionate to your patience and mine wore thin 15 issues ago, but I made it to the end… if you can call it that.

Lots of recap and Skrull nonesense to setup a Knull book - not what I thought a #250 would be at all.

What a boring start to a "New Run" - Separating the FF in this "first issue" is just ridiculous and the whole thing felt uninspiring.

I really just wanted to comment on the fact that we get to see Gwen’s mother allow a 7 to 8 year old little Gwen into the same room as a criminally insane and incarcerated man who has a knife! Not mother of the year material there!! Also, Misty shows up at the end with a bag of… ice cream cones? I hope it wasn’t a long drive and then wait for Gwen to get off work! I think there would be a soggy bag and they’d need a straw!
