Horror DNA - James Ferguson Aug 4, 2020

While the Hellmouth crossover event is every bit as epic as it set out to be, Angel & Spike really shines in these closer, personal stories. We get to the heart of these characters and what connects them. As dysfunctional as this group can be, they're still going to stick together and fight for one another, even if what binds them together is still fresh. This has set out on its own path separate from the TV show it's based on and it is better for it. These is a unique story full of possibilities. Read Full Review

Beyond The Panel - Jideobi Odunze Jul 22, 2020

After Hellmouth, it's a bold new world for these heroes. The events of Angel & Spike #12 proved that much to be true, and much more. This is Wolfram & Hart like we have never seen them before, and it makes you wonder how they are going to deal with an enemy they didn't take seriously enough till now. Read Full Review

Comics: The Gathering - Nick Devonald Jul 22, 2020

An action packed issue, a number of storylines are taking unexpected and interesting steps, it's going to be interesting to see how they resolve. Team Angel feels a lot more fluid and less defined than in the TV series, no-one feels safe or a permanent fixture yet, which adds a sense of danger to the series. Melnikov's art is truly outstanding and has been an excellent match for the series, and this issue has some of his best moments. Read Full Review

    Razorfine - Alan Rapp Aug 3, 2020

As Lilith states, Angel chose Kate's safety over Fred. Now bonded with Baphomet, Fred has been given a new position: CEO of Wolfram & Hart. As to how much of Fred remains (from what little Lilith reveals it appears Fred has be joined with the demon rather than taken over by him), and whether she is still friend or enemy, that remains to be seen. What happens when Angel interferes with the plans of Wolfram & Hart? Read Full Review
