Extermination #1 has me on board for the long haul, with absolutely no reservations. It's going to be messed up and dark, but it'll be amusingly so, and black comedy is wonderful when done right. Read Full Review

It all comes down to this: did you read the critically acclaimed “X-Club” mini? Of course you did. Did you love it? Of course you did! Aren't those images above these words pretty damn sharp? Of course they are. Do you have a dollar? Of course you do. Just buy “Extermination.” Read Full Review

Check out Extermination if you're looking for a lively twist on the superhero genre. It's violent, funny and inventive, and if it builds on a strong start it might turn into a keeper. For a dollar, it's definitely worth a shot. Read Full Review

Originally I didn’t really care about this book since it looked like an Irredeemable fill in, but its entirely different. It may have familiar character types in the story, but honestly it’s taken to the next level. The pacing really made this book good because it gave you a bit of a mystery and a lot of reality to deal with. There is no simple solution for these characters to work out and it’s going to get very interesting when they start to rub off on each other. For only a dollar I don’t see how you can’t check this book out, but when the next issue is at normal price I’ll be back for sure. Read Full Review

Extermination is probably an acquired taste. Luckily the character work is strong enough here that you don't have to be a science fiction or horror fan to enjoy the book. Sure this issue presents a lot of unanswered questions, but the set up is good enough to get me to return for a second issue. Priced at a buck, why wouldn't you give this a try? Read Full Review

For a buck, Extermination is a great buy. Were each subsequent issue a dollar, I would be on-board indefinitely, alas, next month it's back to $3.99 a pop. But as I said, it's the exception, and I will be back for more even if I have to sacrifice a DC or Marvel pull to do it. Read Full Review
