This series has been a fun read and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is or was a fan of either franchise. It has been a fast paced, highly action orientated series with a great script and full of superb art and colours. There will always be limitations to what a crossover can achieve, but Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #5 pulls it off with aplomb, wrapping up the story with action, character moments and a clear love of both properties, with clean, expressive art bringing it all to life. I am just going to be honest. This is the best crossover I ever read. Great art, action, plot, dialogue, and pacing. Highly reccomend people to read this.
This mini-series started out pretty promising, but grew stale halfway through. It was WAAAAAY better than that God-Awful team up they did on Power Rangers in Space, I'll give it that. Each of the Rangers found a member of the Turtle team they had things in common with, that was amusing. Rita Repulsa's presence was really unnecessary, because Shredder was already more than enough trouble for both teams. And a team-up with Lord Zedd would've been more interesting.
I guess I lost focus and interest since it took almost 3 months in standby due to Covid-19 quarantine. It happened with a lot of stories I'd been reading. But like I said, the start was more promising than the end. I can only give this issue a 6.5, but altogether the storyline more
There are way too many panels where I simply can't tell what's going on. The art is messy, the story is messy, the conclusion is lackluster, and the internal reality seems to warp towards whatever the writers thought would be the most fan-servicing. I can't recommend this series to anyone in good conscience, fan or otherwise.
