Once & Future #27 continues to be one of the best books on shelves across both the big two and independent publishers, with the entire creative team working together on a level that exceeds any of their other works. That isnt to disparage Gillens writing at Marvel, Mora and Bonvillains DC collaborations, or Dukeshires letters in Seven Secrets. Its just this team working with these characters, and this material, across a significant amount of issues, that feels like a special kind of alchemy thats incomparable. The fight over the sword is just the beginning of a larger thread, even Duncan gives it a go, but the end of Galahad's quest brings the story back to the themes of family and may just have given our heroes a new ally in hopes to survive until to the end of the year. Read Full Review
