From the multi-Eisner Award-winning creator of Beasts of Burden and the artist of Archie and Slam comes this supernatural fantasy about a magical murder in a sorcery school.

The Blackwood curse claims its first victim in a most horrific manner, the three surviving students attempt to lift the curse on their own by hunting down Dean Ogden, Chimp Ho Tep is on the loose and causing havoc for reasons unknown, and the Bug Mother sends her "millions of babies" on a murderous revenge mission against the school.

I may be foolishly frustrated that Blackwood only has one more issue, but its hard not to want a lot more of this series. To have a book that's entertaining, horrific and enticing makes Blackwood a comic no one should miss. Read Full Review

Blackwood #3 is a slow book, but its enthralling and populated with a cast of unique and engaging characters. Veronica and Andy Fish support it with some damn good artwork, and the book earns a recommendation. Check it out. Read Full Review
