Loki is forced to atone for his latest prank by pitting two groups of dwarfs against each other in a contest that will either bring the gods greater treasures than they could dream of, or cost him his head . . . or both.
If you're unfamiliar with Norse mythology I highly recommend this series. Norse Mythology is a fun way to experience the ancient origins of these characters and it's created by some of the most seasoned creators in the business. The first two issues of Norse Mythology have been fun to read and look at the magnificent art. As someone who had previously read Gaiman’s book, it’s been nice to see his words “come to life” as it were. It’s also a great read for anyone interested in the tales from Norse mythology who may only know the likes of Thor and Loki from Marvel’s perspective. Read Full Review
Again, this story doesn't have any jaw-dropping moments as it's a story that's been told thousands of times before. What this story does provide, however, is a fresh take that's just different enough from whatever's come before it to hold your attention even the slightest bit. Read Full Review
