The young heroes of Hawkins find themselves swept up in a sea of change after saving their town from Soviet spies and horrific creatures. Their favorite bookstore has shuttered, and Will and Eleven are moving away, but before they go, the party has one last epic quest to finish.
This issue was quite the tearjerker. Will has set up a particularly challenging adventure, and it brings out the emotions from the gang. Stranger Things and Dungeons & Dragons #4 is a bittersweet issue, one that openly addresses many points that occurred over the most recent season of the show. Accompanied by bright artwork, this issue is sure to be a memorable one. Read Full Review
This was a surprisingly good mini-series, one that used Stranger Things (the franchise that helped spark D&D's resurgence) to demonstrate the beneficial values that playing any sort of tabletop RPG can have for a group of friends (or strangers). Read Full Review
At the time of typing this I have still not watched Stranger Things season 3 (my bad I know), but I feel finishing this story arc is the kick in the backside I need. Maybe sometime soon, I can clear a little bit of my schedule to start watching it. Though I digress from the subject: the story here ends with a twist, a turn and a satisfying conclusion. It has reached a logical closure point where the baton has been passed and friendships are stronger than ever before. Read Full Review
