Millar pulls off an superb finish to the series that finds the perfect balance between action-packed adult magic shenanigans and satisfying heartfelt ending for the main character. The joy is in the journey and this last chapter rounds that journey off in magical style as only a book about a secret order of magicians that protect us from the darkness while hiding in plain sight can! This final issue wraps everything up really nicely and delivers something close to a happy ending. I particularly enjoyed seeing Cordelia read her own eulogy a moment that was both poignant and darkly humorous. The final glimpse of Moonstone Castle was also a satisfying way to close the saga. While the rapid-fire plot might leave you wanting a bit more depth, the sheer spectacle of the magical battle and the witty dialogue make it a fun, if not entirely fulfilling, ride. It's a solid enough landing for this arc, but you'll need to trust in the unseen powers more than the plot mechanics. Read Full Review

    Plot
Cordelia confronts Samuel Mott, who is a kind of god, unstoppable. The only way to stop him is with Black Magic. Cordelia is tempted to use some Orichalcum spell, but she knows that if she uses it again, everything could get worse later.

Mott reveals that this plan by the Fellowship of the Bell has been centuries in the making, that they've set up chess pieces. One piece was him whispering to Rosie that she would use the wand and die, unleashing this chaos and forcing Cordelia to use Orichalcum for the first time, strengthening the monster that is about to enter our world.

At the Abington Hotel, Leonard Moonstone from the past asks the restaurant staff about a scandal, and they explain that it was Cordelia as more
