Geek Dad - Ray Goldfield
Feb 04, 2026At its core, space is terrifying. The Green Lantern franchise has always played it for more cosmic adventure, but with lashings of horror. This series takes it in the opposite direction and gives us a glimpse of just how scary a world ruled by these cosmic energies would be. Read Full Review

Feb 04, 2026Can Mullein stop a new threat before its too late? Ewing's writing throws a few different looks into that dynamic. Lindsay connected with fantastic art to juggle the very large cast. There's many moving parts for readers to gravitate onto with this new vision of Emerald Excitement. Read Full Review

This book frustrates me. The last 2 issues with Goldface were quite good, but this issue takes a downturn. Ewing seems to take strange delight in deliberately not providing any answers as to what's going on either on Earth or in outer space. Almost a full year in and we know very little about the lantern corps, what Hammond is up to, and I don't feel very invested in the characters. Another problem is that the art is very unclear in places as well. My patience with the book is wearing thin. Why this is an ongoing title and Absolute Martian Manhunter is only 12 issues is just wrong.
