ALL STAR WESTERN #30 is the return to the classic western comic that made this book awesome. Sure, the past few issues were a ton of fun, but #30 gets back to what many fans were missing. What was really surprising was how fun the back-up story was. Both pieces were incredibly strong and leave the reader wanting more. The Madame .44 feature, titled "The Other Side," opens with the striking image of a masked woman with two revolvers drawn. What's presented is a tale of betrayal and revenge that will ultimately drive Jeanne's path in the coming issues. It's a truly enjoyable read which more than makes up for the shortened Jonah Hex story. Read Full Review
