Blue Raven Comics - Eric Scroggs Jul 13, 2012

Gail Simone, who can write Barbara Gordon in her sleep by now, does not disappoint this issue. (Does she ever?) This one has it all: a confident and formidable ass-kicking Batgirl, shocking twists and turns, action on top of action, suspense, and spot-on characterization. Ardian Syaf's art looks great, as always. Although, I have to say that Knightfall's design looks like a cross between Spoiler and Azrael. Not really a critique, just an observation. It had to be intentional, either way. Not that I mind. I actually think it's kind of neat. In summary, this is the most fun I've had reading Batgirl since the relaunch and it's a genuine pleasure to read this title every month. I give this issue a 10 out of 10! Read Full Review

This is a great issue to pick up. If you haven't been reading Batgirl pick up this issue and the issue before this that way you are not lost. There is a lot of story that you are not going to want to miss. Read Full Review

Ultimately, what this collection does best is highlight all the things that made Batgirl so different from her mentor over the years: her sense of humor, her emotional honesty, and above all, a blinding humanity that shines straight through the cowl. Beautifully rendered by series regulars Syaf and Cifuentes, Babs isnt the perfect heroine, but her determination and drive is infectious. Her victories are hard won, so when that unique look of joy runs across her face, its hard not to smile along. Read Full Review

    Batman-News - Andrew Asberry Jul 11, 2012

This is the most fun I've had reading a “Batgirl” comic since the launch, but I could do without all the super-powered foes. It seems like that's the only kind of enemy Batgirl fights anymore. Read Full Review

Gotham Spoilers - Gotham Spoilers Jul 11, 2012

Alright, so I thought this was a pretty good issue, right up until the final scene in the apartment. But, prior to that, what we had was a confident Batgirl, kicking some ass, no woe is me nonsense, and over all just being enjoyable. Everything I want from this book, is that, exactly.
