The story is still going strong, and the revelation that Bruce is still alive is an unexpected bombshell. The title was doing okay without him, but his return would make it even better. Read Full Review

Overall, there is not a lot of action, but the story does progress and that I think is a positive move. Read Full Review

While this issue kind of makes all the set up in the previous issue look all for not, we still get some really fun stuff with this story and an interesting turn on a reveal that this series has been teasing since it started.  We've got great art all the way through and I'm starting to feel myself get a little hyped for what's to come. This series has been a little off for me up until this issue. I've liked a lot of aspects of the series but need more Batman. This issue seems to be pointing in the right direction in that sense. Terry will get the bag from Matt next issue (I hope) that I assume has the suit and Terry will suit up and I'll be happy. Maybe. It will be interesting to see where the situation with Bruce's body goes as well. That was a twist I didn't see coming. As for the art, I've quite liked it so far. The shading and colors are fantastic and really fit the tone of the series. Read Full Review

Batman Beyond is decent. I wouldn't go so far to say that it is good or bad, just decent. What doesn't work in this title's favor, is that prior to Rebirth, it was really good. Compared to the momentum Jurgens and Chang had, it's hard to look at the current arc as anything other than a work in progress. Read Full Review

    Big Comic Page - Dec 29, 2016

Overall this was a bit of a disappointing issue, which only makes it harder to recommend. Jurgens is playing the long game, but will it be worth the wait? There are some interesting ideas on the board, but it seems like there are still several pieces that need to be introduced or revealed. I hope Jurgens gets as many issues as he needs in order tell the story he envisioned, but he really needs to start picking up the pace. Read Full Review
