Batman: The Adventures Continue #7 may very well be the best chapter of this series thus far. This issue read like an episode from The New Batman Adventures that this series timeline is placed in the middle of. The chemistry between Batman, Catwoman, Azrael, and Penguin was on point throughout this issue. This is a good finale to the Dini and Burnett's introduction of Jason Todd into the DC animated universe. It's not as creative with the premise as I'd hoped and aside from the ending it's somewhat predictable but it's still a decent-quality story. The characters aren't poorly written by any means and there's some interesting moments but this is more of an action-focused issue. The art continues to look great and fans of the animated series will definitely feel some nostalgia from seeing it. The lettering is good but it's fairly standard and there's not really anything particularly inventive here. All in all, it's a good comic but not a great one. Read Full Review
Azrael is an unexpected addition here keeping Jason Todd on the sidelines. Catwoman gets a good cameo as well, although the choice to use the revamped designs of the characters means we don't get Catwoman's original BtAS look (still my favorite Catwoman desgin). Read Full Review
